Testimonials

"Highly recommend; I would give 6 stars if i could! I came in after injuring both knees and both shoulders during training. I signed up for 10 sessions with Dylan. Dylan was amazing; over 10 sessions he crafted a therapy routine that really changed my life. Now I can use my shoulders without fear of hurting them and knees are stronger than before my injury and my shoulders."

THE LANGE 3-PHASE APPROACH

1. FIND THE ROOT CAUSE

Our first step is a thorough assessment to identify the source of pain or dysfunction, going beyond. surface-level symptoms to address the root of the cause and begin decreasing your pain. This approach. This approach lays the groundwork for long-term recovery.

2. BUILD A CUSTOM PLAN

Based on the assessment, a personalized treatment plan is developed to target the individual's specific needs, goals, and lifestyle. Every step is designed to support steady progress and sustainable results.

3. GET YOU BACK TO BUISNESS

This is what separates Lange Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy from traditional Physical Therapy. With your symptoms reduced and a bulletproof foundation, let's push your limits to achieve your greatest performance!

  • Do you take my insurance?
At Lange Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, we put quality care above all else. The reality? Traditional insurance-based healthcare often falls short — it’s not built to prioritize your recovery or long-term musculoskeletal health. That’s why we do things differently. Our approach is centered on personalized, one-on-one care that’s tailored to your goals, not dictated by insurance limitations. The result? More effective treatment, fewer sessions, and a quicker return to doing what you love — all while saving you time and money. As an out-of-network provider in Studio City, we provide you with superbills after each visit that gives you the opportunity to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
  • Do you accept HSA (health savings account) or FSA (flexible spending account)?
Yes! Physical therapy is a qualified medical expense, so you can absolutely use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover your sessions.
  • What can I expect during my initial Eval?
Come ready to move! Your first session is a full 60 minutes dedicated entirely to you. We’ll take the time to listen to your story, learn about your goals, and assess how your body moves — not just where you feel pain. Using our three-step process, we’ll identify the root cause of the issue and create a customized plan to get you back on track. By looking at how your entire body functions together, we build a personalized roadmap to help you move better, feel stronger, and stay pain-free.
  • What makes Lange Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy different?
The care you’ll receive from our expert doctors of physical therapy goes far beyond the typical in-network physical therapy experience in Studio City. Every session is one-on-one with a multi-credentialed Doctor of Physical Therapy — no juggling multiple patients, no hand-offs to aides, and no generic exercise routines. We take the time to dig deeper, uncover the root cause of your pain, and tailor your treatment to your specific goals from day one. This is physical therapy designed for people who want to stay active, not just get by.
  • How many times should I expect to be seen?
Recovering from injury is never black and white. In most cases, people start to see progress in a matter of 2-3 visits. After your initial visit, we’ll outline a clear plan based on your condition, goals, and lifestyle. Some people see results quickly, others need a bit more time—but we’ll make sure it’s all tailored to you.
  • Do I need a referral from a doctor to start?
No referral needed to get started! California is a direct access state, which means you can begin physical therapy without seeing a physician first. If we determine that a referral is needed for further medical evaluation or care, we’ll point you in the right direction. For insurance reimbursement purposes, a physician referral is required if your treatment extends beyond 45 calendar days or 12 visits — whichever comes first. If you're not submitting for reimbursement, no referral is necessary.
